This video documents the experience of Vincent Ray Williams III, founder of the Urban Compassion Project, following his arrest on July 28, 2022. While advocating for the rights of the unhoused community in Oakland, Williams attempted to prevent the abrupt displacement of residents—including families with young children—from an encampment by Caltrans and the CHP.
